Aims and Scope – Sri Lanka Journal of Geriatrics and Gerontology

The Sri Lanka Journal of Geriatrics and Gerontology is a bi annualy published, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal dedicated to advancing knowledge, practice, and policy in the field of aging. It serves as a platform for clinicians, researchers, policymakers, and allied health professionals engaged in geriatric care and age-related research, particularly within the South Asian context.

The journal aims to:

  • Promote academic and clinical excellence in geriatric and gerontological practice.
  • Foster interdisciplinary dialogue and research on the biological, psychological, social, and cultural aspects of aging.
